Job Title: Special Education TeacherLocation: Saint Paul, MNCaseload Type: Multi-categorical (mix of case management and direct/small group instruction)Grades: Elementary, Middle School, and High School Shift: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (Full-time)Pay Rate: $40.00$45.00 per hourJob Overview:We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join a supportive public charter school in Saint Paul, MN. There are multiple full-time, on-site openings available for the 20252026 school year across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Middle and high school positions are the highest priority. The ideal candidates will be passionate about inclusive education, experienced with diverse student populations, and skilled in both instruction and case management.Responsibilities:Provide direct instruction and small group support to students with IEPsManage a caseload of 1015 students (1520 for lower-need students with fewer services)Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Adapt instruction and curriculum to meet individual student needsCollaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providersMaintain accurate documentation and consistent communication with familiesParticipate in IEP meetings, school-based teams, and professional developmentUse data to monitor progress and adjust instructionRequirements:Valid Minnesota Professional Educator License (PEL)Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related fieldExperience with multi-categorical caseloads and small group instruction preferredStrong communication and classroom management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamMust be available to work on-site in Saint Paul, MN for the 20252026 school yearBenefits:Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) Retirement PlanCEU/Licensure Reimbursement: $300 per yearApply Today:If youre a licensed Special Education Teacher looking for a meaningful opportunity to support students in a diverse and relational school environment, wed love to connect with you.
