Location: Yonkers, NY | 2025–2026 School Year

MIYO Health is seeking full-time, onsite Special Education Teachers to join our team in supporting K–8 students in the Yonkers, NY area. If you're a passionate educator committed to inclusive education and student growth, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Details

Grade Levels Needed:
K-8 (assignments will be based on best fit for the candidate)
Service Model:
Traditional push-in and pull-out support within the school day
Caseload:

16–21 students per FTE (based on how many positions are filled)
Ideal caseload: 15–18 students

Schedule:
Full-time, in-person during regular school hours
Start Date:
Staff return: September 2, 2025 | Students begin: September 3, 2025

Requirements

Valid New York teaching certification in Special Education
Experience with IEP development, compliance, and service delivery
Ability to provide both academic and behavioral supports
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must be available to work onsite in Yonkers, NY

Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Engaging in physical activities required for classroom and school settings
