Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary resource program serving K-5 students.
Responsibilities Work within an elementary school resource specialist program Serve students in grades K-5 with special education needs Standard day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Position follows the typical school year calendar Provide instruction, support, and accommodations to K-5 students in the resource specialist program Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Requirements Special Education teaching credential required License required if applicable Experience teaching or supporting students with special needs in an elementary setting is preferred
