Job Description:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Provide differentiated instruction in a classroom setting to support diverse learning styles. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment. Assess student progress regularly and adjust strategies to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Nebraska Special Education teaching certification. Experience with IEP development and implementation is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
