Position: Special Education Teacher

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Start Date: August 18, 2025
Shift: 8-hour workday + 30 Minutes Break
Location: Various campuses across Killeen ISD

Qualifications Required Certifications: Applicants must hold BOTH of the following active Texas Educator Certifications: EC–12 Special Education Certification, and EC–6 Core Subjects or 4–8 Generalist Certification

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws
