This is a full-time, on-site position serving students with a range of learning needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse student populations and a strong commitment to inclusive education.Responsibilities:Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs in a resource or self-contained settingDevelop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of each studentCollaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providersMaintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and communication with familiesParticipate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based teamsUse data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordinglyRequirements:Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsementBachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related fieldExperience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferredStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamMust be available to work on-site in Joliet, IL for the upcoming school yearCompensation and Benefits:Compensation: W2 hourly, paid weeklyHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) Retirement Plan: Eligible after 90 days of employment; up to a 4% matchCEU/Licensure Reimbursement: $300 per yearApply Today:If youre a licensed SLP looking for a rewarding opportunity in an educational setting, wed love to connect with you.
