Job Description:
Knowledge Road is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher with proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) to provide SETSS to a student in Queens 11102. The ideal candidate will have experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students and will be able to deliver instruction and support using ASL in alignment with IEP mandates.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver SETSS in accordance with the student's IEP
  

• Use ASL to facilitate instruction and communication
  

• Maintain accurate session notes and student progress data
  

• Collaborate with school staff and families as needed
  

Qualifications:

• NYS Special Education Teacher Certification
  

• Fluency in American Sign Language
  

• Prior experience with SETSS or special education services
  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  Compensation:

  • 1 student/hour – $60/hr
    

  • 2 students/hour – $70/hr
    

  • 3–4 students/hour – $75/hr
    

  • 5–8 students/hour – $100/hr
