Special Education Teacher (Grades 2-3, Intensive Resource Room) Location: Wilbraham, MA Pay Rate: $55/hr | Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team in Wilbraham, MA. This full-time position focuses on working with students in Grades 2 and 3 within an Intensive Resource Room (IRR) program.

The IRR program serves students on the autism spectrum and/or with developmental disabilities who benefit from direct, explicit instruction in a structured, small-group environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies-including Discrete Trial Training (DTT)-and familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.

We are looking for an educator who thrives on collaboration, values individualized instruction, and uses data-driven practices to foster academic and social growth.

Requirements: MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure in one of the following:

Moderate Disabilities PreK-2

Moderate Disabilities PreK-8

Severe Needs (All Levels) Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities

Strong communication and collaboration skills
