Compensation: $55 - $60 per hour

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Wisconsin DPI licensure (or eligibility) in all subject areas taught
  • Experience teaching, preferably in urban schools, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment
  • A commitment to high academic standards and fostering college readiness
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Passion for empowering underserved students and helping them achieve their full potential
  • Adaptability and a professional, entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment

Your Role:

  • Deliver dynamic, rigorous lessons that inspire and prepare students for college and meaningful careers
  • Set and uphold high standards for academic achievement, behavior, and social growth
  • Collaborate with an Instructional Coach to continually refine your teaching strategies
  • Build strong partnerships with students and their families to support overall success
  • Use data-driven approaches to develop personalized learning plans and team goals
  • Integrate technology seamlessly into your daily instruction
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with students, families, and staff
  • Ensure a safe, respectful classroom environment at all times
  • Keep accurate records, including updating grades and assignments regularly in PowerSchool

Licensure:
Must hold or be eligible for a current Wisconsin Teacher License, Charter License, or One-Year with Stipulations License in all subject areas taught.
