About the Role: MIYO Health is seeking a passionate, Arizona-certified Special Education Teacher (junior high) to provide in-person instructional services to students in the Apache Junction area. In this role, you’ll help students with exceptional needs reach their full potential by delivering tailored instruction, collaborating with school teams, and fostering a supportive classroom environment.

What You’ll Do: Deliver engaging instruction aligned with IEP goals and Arizona state standards Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth Adapt general education curriculum to meet the individualized needs of students Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress Collaborate with families, general education teachers, service providers, and school staff Attend and contribute to IEP meetings Maintain accurate student records and documentation per state and district policies Implement behavioral strategies and supports as needed Support school-wide initiatives and participate in staff development activities
