Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects (reading, writing, math, etc.) to students with disabilities
Work collaboratively with general education teachers, aides, specialists, and families
Assess students’ progress and use data to inform instruction and IEP goals
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Provide ongoing communication with parents and guardians about student progress
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
Prior experience teaching students with special needs preferred
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for inclusive education and individualized student success
