Are you passionate about helping students overcome challenges and unlock their full potential? Were looking for a committed Special Education Teacher to join our team and support learners with Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) and students on the Autism Spectrum. Youll be a key part of creating a structured, supportive learning environment where students can succeed both academically and socially. What Youll Do: Teach and support students using personalized instructional strategies. Write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique goals and needs. Collaborate with related service providers (speech, OT, social work, etc.) and general education teachers to deliver cohesive support. Create a safe, predictable classroom environment that promotes growth, communication, and trust. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed. Serve as an advocate for your students and help families navigate the special education process. Who You Are: You hold a valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (required). You understand the complexities of supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs, as well as those on the autism spectrum. Youre experienced with IEP development and implementation. Youre a team player whos flexible, patient, and resourceful. You believe every student can grow and thrive with the right support. Preferred (But Not Required): Previous experience working with EBD and/or Autism Spectrum students. Familiarity with positive behavior supports, trauma-informed practices, and social-emotional learning strategies.
