Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with severe cognitive and multiple disabilities.
Collaborate with a team of seven educational technicians (paras) to support a caseload of 12 students.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations.
Communicate regularly with families and other educational professionals to promote student growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Maine teaching certification #282 or a valid reciprocal out-of-state certification.
Experience working with life skills students and those with severe or multiple disabilities.
Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with educational support staff.
