Position Details: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Olympia Fields, IL Duration: 08/22/25 to 06/12/26 Onsite/Virtual: Onsite Position Type: Contract Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, from Monday to Friday Student Age Group: Kindergarten/Elementary school Case Load: 5-7 students Responsibilities: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Prepare student individual education programs in consultation with parents and IEP team members Design instruction, both individual programs and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum Act as a case manager of IEP implementation with general education staff Monitor student progress and participation in review and revision of IEP, as appropriate Assist other professional staff in identifying learning/behavior disabilities, development of remediation plans, and evaluation of student progress Maintain appropriate student data and other records and submit reports as required Articulate curriculum between and among student levels Manage classroom organization Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Experience working with special education students Experience modifying/adapting general education curriculum Experience providing education services in varied environments Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 or ECE SPED.
