Job Posting: Special Education Teacher School Year: 20252026 Company: Soliant Education Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Start Date: August 18, 2025 End Date: June 16, 2026 Location: Centreville, MD Area Schedule: Monday Friday Age Group: Elementary Number of Openings: 1 Pay Rate: $35+/hour (based on degree level, experience, and qualifications) Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Centreville, MD area for the 20252026 school year. This is a contracted opportunity with full benefits, supporting a caseload of elementary students primarily served within general education classrooms. Caseload Details: Disabilities on caseload include: Other Health Impairment (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment Serving students within the general education setting Caseload is fluid; typically 1015 students at any given time Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success Conduct regular assessments and monitor student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Requirements: Must hold valid certification as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Maryland or be eligible to obtain it Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs in inclusive settings Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay through Soliant Education Apply NOW!
