Description: Special Education Teacher Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher - Building Sub to join the team at our Souderton Vantage Academy campus in Souderton, Pennsylvania. Teaching middle and high school age learning and emotional support students, any major subject. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a desire to create a supportive and trauma-informed educational environment. Substituting in a small school like Souderton Vantage Academy allows you to get to know and build relationships with all of the students. This is a full-time permanent position Monday through Friday, all student days.

Special Education Teacher - Building Sub Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Special Education Teacher - Building Sub may include: Teaching or co-teaching classes for students with diverse learning needs. Managing resource room support to provide individualized and small-group instruction. Serving as an IEP case manager, which includes developing, implementing, and monitoring student plans. Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. Morning, lunch, and other day-to-day duties as needed. Transport students in the morning and/or the afternoon. Special Education Teacher - Building Sub Qualifications: PA Special Education Teaching Certification is required. Certification at the elementary and/or the secondary level. Candidates must have experience or a desire to work in a trauma-informed environment with students who have faced challenges in their educational journey. Special Education Teacher - Building Sub Benefits & Compensation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
