As a Teacher Assistant in our Special Education Program, you will: Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to create an inviting and high-achieving learning atmosphere. Implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs. Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and families about successes and areas for improvement. Support students in overcoming academic challenges and developing vital life skills. Maintain accurate documentation of student behaviors and performance. Participate in school-wide meetings to engage with families and the community. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and passage of a basic skills test. Willingness to obtain a CO paraprofessional certification. Experience working with children, particularly in a special education setting. Skills in working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with instructional technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
