Carson Elementary Rachel Carson Elementary is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for a Homebase setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This 0.5 FTE position will currently be responsible for supporting 8 students on their caseload, with the students in Second, Third and Fourth Grade.
The Homebase supports students that demonstrate cognitive impairments and adaptive behavior delays. The program provides academic and behavioral support to students within a special education classroom and through support to general education teachers through inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
