DESCRIPTION: Integrated co-teachers partner to deliver instruction and support all students Ongoing communication and collaboration are critical to co-teaching success The special educator brings expertise in disabilities and accommodations, focusing on students with special needs, while the general educator leads subject instruction Special Educator designs targeted interventions to meet individual student needs Both co-teachers work together to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Individualizing instruction based on students' needs and interests is a key skill for integrated co-teachers Successful integrated co-teaching relies on teamwork, flexibility, and a shared commitment to helping every student succeed

QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification in Special Education Knowledge of NYS Learning and NYSAA Knowledge of Curriculum and effective instructional strategies Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the team

STARTING DATE: September 2025

SALARY: $54,357 (2025-26 Base Salary) Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and teaching experience.
