We're currently hiring a Special Education Teacher for a resource room position. In this role, you'll support students with diverse learning profiles-including those with emotional, developmental, physical, or cognitive challenges-by providing personalized instruction in a supportive environment designed for success.

Key Duties Overview: Track student progress through regular assessment and make instructional adjustments as needed. Collaborate closely with related service providers (e.g., SLPs, OTs, PTs) to ensure comprehensive support. Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with state and federal standards. Maintain a structured and welcoming classroom atmosphere that promotes engagement and positive behavior. Design developmentally appropriate, differentiated lessons that address a wide range of learning needs and styles. Communicate regularly with families to share updates, strategies, and insights for continued learning outside the classroom. Use evidence-based interventions to target growth in communication, motor, cognitive, adaptive, and social-emotional skills. Requirements A bachelor's degree (required); master's degree preferred. Strong commitment to inclusive education and collaborative practice. Previous experience working with students in a special education setting.
