A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the academic year at a K-12 school located in Red Rock, AZ. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students within the Exceptional Student Services (ESS) program, emphasizing literacy development through co-teaching and resource support. Key Responsibilities: Teach 3 sections of co-taught English Language Arts (ELA) classes in collaboration with general education teachers. Provide targeted instruction in 2 sections of resource ELA to support individualized student learning needs. Manage a caseload of 19 students, tailoring educational approaches to meet diverse learning goals. Employ effective instructional strategies that accommodate individual differences and foster student growth. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Active Arizona Special Education teaching license.
