Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday | 7:30 AM 5:30 PM | Up to 40 hours/week

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking an enthusiastic School-Age Camp Teacher/Assistant to lead our engaging summer camp and after-school enrichment program. What Youll Do

• Lead Activities: Plan and facilitate games, arts & crafts, science projects, and outdoor adventures that keep school-age children (ages 512) engaged and excited.
• Supervise & Support: Provide a structured, inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and growwhile assisting with homework and ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Encourage teamwork, safety, and respect, guiding children toward positive social and emotional development.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with our teaching team and keep families informed about their childs progress and experiences.

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in group settings with school-age children (camp, after-school, or youth programs preferred).
• Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about child development.
• A team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• At least 18 years old with the ability to pass background checks.
