Beacon High School anticipates an opening for a probationary (tenure-track) Special Education teacher position, to begin at the start of the 2025-26 school year. Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required: Development and implementation of IEPs tailored to students' unique needs; Effective, student-centered classroom management strategies; Culturally responsive instructional practices for secondary classrooms; Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning; Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress; Effective strategies for student and family engagement; Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, required.

Special Education and 7-12 English certification required.

Compensation per BTA Contract
