We are seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to apply and become the face of our Preschool program. Our Preschool classroom has a range of 16 to 24 students with two teachers and we have 5 Leadership Team Members to help you execute one of the best Preschool Program experiences in Northern Ohio. Each child enrolled in our Preschool program will receive two annual assessments, create a school-year portfolio and follow a fun, academic schedule that has an emphasis of making learning fun. We offer up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year. This is equivalent to 10 paid days off per calendar year. Paid Holidays are offered in addition to Paid Time Off (PTO) - A total of 6 holidays are paid to full-time employees per calendar year... In total, our PTO and Paid Holidays package gives employees the opportunity to earn up to and extra 16 paid days off per year Primary Responsibilities:

Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily group functions of a group of children Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Broadview Heights and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children. Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence. Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior. Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds. Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions. Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of Broadview Heights Employee Handbook Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary. Desired skills and Experience:

Must have an outgoing personality, be creative and have boundless energy Excellent communication skills and ability to speak professionally with parents Previous experience at a licensed child care center/daycare Specific experience with children aged 3 to 5 years old Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of Preschoolers Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
