Duties

Provide Nurturing Care and Safety: Create a nurturing and safe environment for preschoolers, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilize Provided Curriculum: Utilize the curriculum and classroom resources already in place to enhance learning experiences for preschoolers.
Lead Engaging Activities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and exploration.
Collaborate with Supportive Staff: Work alongside friendly and supportive staff members who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
Student assessments: Conduct thoughtful observations, documentation and individualized planning.

Requirements

·Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices

·Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

·Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed

·Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move around actively throughout the day

·Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including classroom setup and cleanup

·Full-time position: must be able to work flexible hours as needed
