About The Learning Village The Learning Village in Mars is looking for a Preschool Teacher - but not just any Preschool Teacher, but someone who wants to engage the minds of our tiny humans! Our Childcare Teachers actively engage with the children, facilitate enjoyable learning activities, and cultivate meaningful connections with the families we serve. Pay & Benefit - Hourly Rate: Earn between $15 - $18 per hour, depending on your education and experience. - Flexible, consistent full-time work Schedule: 4 10-hour days (giving you an extra day off each week) or 5 8-hour days - No evenings, weekends, or major holidays required. - Dress comfortably in colorful t-shirts and sweatshirts. - Refreshments: Stay fueled with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. - Attendance Incentive: Receive a $50 gift card every other month for zero call-offs. - Paid Time Off: Accrue paid time off for every 40 hours worked (one week for the first year and two weeks after two years of service, etc.). - Enjoy three sick days per year. - Paid Holidays after 60 days of employment. - Medical, Dental & Vision insurance available - 401k program. - Professional Growth: Grow with paid training opportunities. Job Responsibilities - Engage with children ranging in age from age 2 to 3. - Supervise children in the classroom. - Foster social and emotional skills development in children. - Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with the approved curriculum. - Track and document children's progress and development. - Offer individualized attention to each child. - Assist in organizing and implementing special activities. - Assist in the preparation of meals for the children. - Ensure the safety and well-being of the children. - Collaborate with parents to discuss their children's development and address concerns. - Participate in professional development opportunities. - Maintain accurate records and reports.
