Job Description: Preschool Teacher (3-Year-Old Program) - Part-Time

St. William Catholic School - Walled Lake, MI
Schedule:

3 Full Days - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (September through May)

We are currently seeking a Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old program. This part-time position is ideal for a passionate and nurturing educator who feels called to work with young children during their most formative years. The ideal candidate will integrate faith, love, and learning in a play-based, developmentally appropriate classroom.
Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education (ZA/ZS endorsement) or an Associate's Degree or higher in Child Development or a related field
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate or Child Development Credential
Practicing Catholic preferred and willing to model Catholic Christian values
Catechist Certification (or willingness to obtain through the Archdiocese of Detroit)
Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Commitment to fostering a safe, faith-filled, and academically nurturing classroom environment

Responsibilities Include:

Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
Promoting social-emotional, spiritual, and academic growth in young children
Collaborating with colleagues and families to support student development
Demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a strong sense of mission
