Job Summary

St. Angela's Preschool is a faith-based, nurturing learning environment located in the heart of Pacific Grove, CA. Our program is dedicated to supporting the development of the whole child-spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically-through a creative and caring early childhood curriculum.

We are currently seeking (2) qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time Preschool Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive space for young children to thrive.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop a thoughtful and age-appropriate program tailored to preschool-aged children • Use creative teaching techniques such as storytelling, educational games, and media • Observe and assess individual children's growth and help support social development and self-confidence • Encourage positive interactions among children and guide resolution of minor conflicts • Lead engaging activities that promote skills in art, numbers, letters, and practical life • Supervise nap time, snack time, and playtime to ensure a safe and structured environment • Track developmental progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians • Maintain open, respectful communication with families to understand each child's needs and background • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive, supportive classroom environment • Keep the classroom clean, organized, and aligned with health and safety regulations
