As a Preschool Teacher, you will work with children to develop essential skills in preparation for kindergarten. Your role will involve fostering a love of learning, enhancing social skills, and encouraging emotional and mental development in a structured, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with best practices in early childhood education Teach fundamental skills including letter recognition, handwriting, and socialization Build strong relationships with children and establish trust to create a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff members to ensure transparency and teamwork Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment following health and safety guidelines Support children in both group and individual learning settings based on needs and lesson plans Foster creativity and curiosity by organizing activities and creating opportunities for exploration Help children develop routines that encourage physical activity, rest, and personal responsibility Qualifications: Certification in Early Childhood Education or related childcare field (preferred) CPR certification (required) Child Development Associate (CDA) certification (preferred) Proven experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting Strong knowledge of early childhood educational principles and developmental milestones Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young children Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment Salary & Benefits: Salary: $13.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Benefits: 401(k) matching, dental insurance, employee discounts, health insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift (7:30 am – 4:30 pm), no weekends or nights Job Requirements: Ability to commute or relocate to Bismarck, ND (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred) Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) Little Scholars Learning Centers is excited to welcome new, skilled talent to our team, and we are committed to your professional growth and success.
