You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities Follow a comprehensive curriculum Teach beginning reading and math skills Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Communicate with parents and other school personnel Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones Managing a teacher assistant Qualifications Bachelors degree, AAS and/or Childhood Credentials 2 Years Lead Teacher experience Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills
