* Make a difference everyday! * Work collaboratively with all teachers to ensure consistency throughout the program * Work collaboratively and contribute to daily lesson plans that challenge students at all levels * Communicate daily with parents through verbal face to face, email, daily sheets, etc. * Work with and perform duties assigned by your lead teacher * Represent Open Minds in a professional manner * Build positive relationships in our surrounding communities * Be a positive role model for your students * Effectively manage your classroom/age group * Attend monthly curriculum training (High Scope)

*Job Requirements*

* At least 18 years of age * At least 12 hours in child development or early childhood education. * At least one year of experience working in a licensed child care facility. * Proficiency with classroom technology (IPads, laptops, etc.) * Ability to sit, stoop, bend to low level positions that best allow interactions with the students * Current CPR and First Aid training * Pass pre-employment screening and fingerprint background check

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Possess an Associates Degree or Bachelors degree. We may accept a degree in a related field with * The ability to lift 40 lbs is strongly desired, and may be required in some classrooms
