Position Preschool Teacher - Breaker

Description

This full time Preschool Teacher will work as a "Breaker" from 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday. This teacher will work in each preschool classroom and is responsible for providing 15 minute breaks and lunch breaks for the classroom Preschool Teachers. When entering the classroom to provide a break, this teacher picks up where the classroom teacher leaves off; stepping in to help with an art project, stepping in to supervise center time, stepping in to help during lunch time, etc. This role may also be asked to substitute teach in preschool classrooms if an outside subsittute teacher is not available that day. During the school year, this teacher is responsible for supervising the elementary after school program. Daily flexibility and a positive attitude is required for this role. This is a 12-month position.

All Preschool Teachers at Christian Life School are required to have a minimum of a high school diploma, be willing to complete required early childhood education courses within the first year of employment, and have personal and professional references.
