Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in both indoor preschool and outdoor nature-based preschool. The age range of children aged 3 to 5 years.

Responsibilities

Creating and a assisting in learning centers within a play-based environment. Scaffolding while children choose their own activities to assist in the development of conceptual thinking. Creating and Assisting in nature-based and farm life activities and explorations. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Assisting in the routine care of the children enrolled who are 3 to 5 years. Assisting in the organization and care of our environment. Engage in on-going professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is important. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. The ability to teach and interact with children in a way the brings joy of learning and instills a positive climate. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus. Computer skills are a plus to assist in picture downloads, school year calendars, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
