We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in both indoor preschool and outdoor nature-based preschool. The age range of children aged 3 to 5 years.

*Responsibilities*

* Creating and a assisting in learning centers within a play-based environment. * Scaffolding while children choose their own activities to assist in the development of conceptual thinking. * Creating and Assisting in nature-based and farm life activities and explorations. * Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. * Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. * Assisting in the routine care of the children enrolled who are 3 to 5 years. * Assisting in the organization and care of our environment. * Engage in on-going professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

*Experience*

* Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is important. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. * The ability to teach and interact with children in a way the brings joy of learning and instills a positive climate. ​ * Knowledge of Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus. * Computer skills are a plus to assist in picture downloads, school year calendars, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
