Summary

Heyward Street Preschool, located in downtown Columbia, values small class size, collaborative teachers, and opportunities for leadership. HSP, a ministry of Heyward St United Methodist Church, seeks a teacher for our younger threes classroom. HSP is SCDSS licensed and ABC Quality. We have five classrooms and an enrollment of around 35 students. We'd like to speak with you about joining our staff.

Duties

Duties include:
teaching developmentally appropriate lessons for three year olds
engaging families and staff in collaboration
being on time, prepared, and consistent.

Requirements

Preferred applicant has experience in a SCDSS licensed facility with experience teaching three year olds. Standard requirements for employment include background check, fingerprints, application, health assessment, TB test, proof of education, and certified in pediatric CPR and first aid.
If applicant does not have experience, we are willing to train.
