Are you a passionate early childhood educator who thrives in a nurturing and play-based environment? We're looking for an experienced 3K teacher to join our warm, collaborative team at our preschool/daycare center in New York City !
What You'll Do:
Lead a 3K classroom using developmentally appropriate practices aligned with DOE and Creative Curriculum standards
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and independence
Collaborate with assistant teachers, families, and support staff to support each child’s growth
Maintain clear, consistent communication with families about student progress
Observe, assess, and document children’s learning through authentic methods
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a preschool or daycare setting with 3-year-olds
Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
Familiarity with DOE 3K standards and curriculum
A nurturing, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
Preferred:
NYC Department of Education Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2 or related)
