Heartfelt Impressions Lake Orion is actively seeking a resource teacher for our preschool classrooms.  This entry level position in early childhood education offers growth opportunities, training and development, and potential for advancement within the organization.

As a preschool resource teacher, you will provide support and coverage to the teaching staff so they can utilize their planning time effectively, as well as provide coverage during breaks and lunches. You will also serve as an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children.

POSITION DETAILS Job Type: Regular, Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10am-6pm Pay rate beginning at: $13/hour ( depending on education, certifications, experience )

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire). Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS… Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often. Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors. Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures Support lead and assistant teacher Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
