PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: $13.10 - $15.72 per hour (depending on qualifications)

SCHEDULE:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9:00 am - 11:45 am

AND

Monday - Friday: 12:45 pm - 3:15 pm

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

• Responsible to coordinate and teach lesson plans and teach basic preschool curriculum.
• Create a fun environment and incorporate structured, educational programs that assist in children's development. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching 3-5 year-old children. Developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and supervising staff to enhance the Preschool learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children and preparing lesson plans.
• Work well with pre-school age children and other staff members.
• Must be dependable and exact in following procedures of the preschool.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
