Reports to: Preschool Director
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be CPR & First Aid certified.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks related to the job.
Experience working with preschool aged children preferred.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Director and/or Lead Teacher(s).
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Prepare and serve snacks as well as cleanup up all snack items and dishes.
Assist teachers in any way necessary, including but not limited to: 1. Preparing and setting up classroom activities 2. Implementing portions of the daily lesson plan as needed 3. With potty and/or diapering needs of the children 4. Sanitizing/cleaning toys and other used surfaces
Setup for Lunch Bunch:
Put out mats/blankets
Set out children’s lunches
Turn on sleepy time music
Close window coverings
Clean both preschool bathrooms daily:
Take out all trash
Wipe down sinks and toilets
Sweep floors
Sweep and/or mop the main preschool hallway as needed.
Attend and assist on all field trips.
Attend all team/staff meetings.
Attend and assist with setup and cleanup of both family celebrations, engage with families during events - Christmas and Easter.
Attend Christmas Performance and Graduation/Moving Up Ceremony.
Stay up to date on all required training hours (24 hours) each year.
Maintain a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
Maintain a valid Food Handlers certification.
