Salary: $16 ECE Substitutes, Inc. is seeking dependable, compassionate, and flexible Preschool Teachers for a Spanish Immersion school to join our team and support early childhood education programs in our partner centers. Our teachers fill in as needed to ensure uninterrupted care, learning, and safety when regular staff are unavailable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide nurturing, responsive care to children in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment. Implement lesson plans and daily activities in alignment with the classroom teachers instructions and the centers curriculum. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture. Engage children in play-based learning, fostering social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. Follow the centers policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures. Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care. Communicate effectively and professionally with children, staff, and families.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field preferred. Minimum of 12 months experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. Spanish Speaking (preferred) Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and positive behavior guidance. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and routines. Must pass background check and meet all state and local licensing requirements. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Skills and Attributes: Dependable, punctual, and professional. Flexible and able to work in a variety of classrooms and age groups (infants to preschoolers). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children.

Work Schedule: On-call positions offer flexible scheduling and are assigned based on availability and client center needs. Shifts may vary in length and time of day.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and stand for extended periods. Able to respond quickly to the needs of active children.
