MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate. A valid Elementary certification K-5 All Subjects (K-8 All Subjects Self Contained Classroom) with Physical Education (MB) endorsement. A Bachelor's degree from an accrredited institution.
PERFORMANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student. Uses a variety of instruction strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, etc. Translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere. Evaluates students' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports. Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students' progress. Maintains current student data including all relevant measures of academic progress.

ANNUAL SALARY: Salary and exceptional fringe benefits based upon BEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
RETENTION BONUS: $10,000 bonus available for the 2025-2026 school year, grant funding dependent.
