A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Live Oak, CA. This contract role is a districtwide opportunity spanning the entire school year, from August 12 to June 6, providing essential services across multiple sites within the district.
Key qualifications and desired experience include:
Certified SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology
Recent completion or active pursuit of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Background working within school settings across K-12 grades
The role involves providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services tailored to students' individual needs. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational teams is integral to support students communication development and academic success. The position includes full-time hours, working 7 hours per day, and will be supported by an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), enhancing service delivery efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Administer diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
Monitor and document student progress regularly
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders
