About the Role:

We are seeking a part-time closing teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping to provide the best possible care and education for young children. Hours are 12pm-6pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with closing procedures and ensure all tasks are completed
• Ensure classrooms are within ratio
• Maintain a clean and organized office space

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for working with children and families

Make a difference every day:

• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children explore the world, improve their motor skills and grow their vocabulary.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
