*Summary*

We are seeking a passionate choral conductor and Kodaly teacher to join our team at The Renaissance International School. In this role, you will lead one of our elementary and JH choral groups and teaching our students Kodaly lessons. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing our students' artistic development.

The hours for this job are roughly 8am-9:30 am, Monday-Friday.

*Responsibilities* * Lead and conduct choral rehearsals, fostering a love for music among students. * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans using the Kodaly method that incorporate music history, music theory, and general musicianship skills. * Mentor students in vocal techniques and performance skills. * Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding program updates and student progress. * Participate in organizing performances and events to showcase the work done in choral rehearsals. * Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational initiatives.

*Requirements* * Proven experience in conducting choral groups or similar musical ensembles. * Background and experience in the Kodaly method. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents. * Background in education or music education preferred. * Passion for mentoring students and fostering their artistic talents.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,750.00 per month
