Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored instruction to students with disabilities, collaborating with families and school staff to foster academic success and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and educators. Provide specialized instruction in core subjects, adapting materials to meet diverse needs. Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technologies to enhance learning. Monitor student progress towards IEP goals and adjust strategies as necessary. Work closely with general education staff to promote inclusive practices. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communications. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for IEP development and reviews.
