As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator to deliver high-quality services to students in grades 4 through 6. You'll be a key player in a collaborative team, developing and implementing individualized programs that include specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff.

Position Overview

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Grade Levels: 4th through 6th
• Compensation Package: $42/hour + Full Benefits
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Start Date: Immediate openings available

What You'll Do:

• Provide tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
• Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
• Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid Indiana teaching certificate (required)
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (preferred)
• Certifications preferred:
• Standard Elementary Teaching
• Standard Secondary Teaching
• Standard Special Teaching
• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
• CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (as applicable)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
