Salary: Certified Schedule 16 ($49,080 - $93,875)

Job Description: The Nonpublic/Private Schools Title I Teacher will provide instructional support to eligible private school Title I Students, and to communicate effectively with students, families, and Private School teachers and administrators in the school community as well as the LEA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determines individual and class
- Establishes objectives and plans learning
- Implements activities using a variety of techniques that utilize instructional time to meet
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve a conducive learning environment
- Maintains and submits, upon request, accurate, complete, and correct records as required by federal and state law, district policy, and administrative regulations
- Administers and interprets assessment data of Title I identified students
- Exhibits positive human relations skills
- Communicates with students, parents/guardians, and educators concerning student's academic needs and progress
- Establishes a positive relationship with students, parents, and co-workers
- Provides feedback to Private School Administrators or designee as well as BCS Federal Program Director or designee
- Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication
- Coordinates with classroom teachers concerning the students' academic program and Title I needs
- Provides assistance to Federal Programs staff or to the supervisor assigned
- Protects confidentiality of records and information about students and staff, and uses discretion when sharing information
- Adheres to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policies, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Federal Programs
Qualifications: Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, Bachelor's Degree or higher
