*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team at Monmouth Music Academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching children and adults. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering a love for music, and contributing to their overall development. The Music Teacher will work with students of various ages, including preschoolers and those with special education needs.
*Duties*
* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the varying skill levels of students. * Teach music theory, vocal techniques, and instrumental skills in an engaging manner. * Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression through music. * Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. * Organize performances and events that showcase student talent and promote community involvement. * Maintain classroom organization and manage resources effectively.
*Requirements*
* Must be available Mondays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. * Must be able to teach piano plus one or more instruments. * Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field preferred. * Experience working with children, particularly in preschool or early childhood education settings. * Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. * Strong lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively. * A passion for teaching music and inspiring young minds.
