Secondary English Teacher

Job Description:

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is looking for a highly qualified full-time Secondary English teacher for the 2024/2025 academic year. The ideal candidate should hold a State of Michigan Certification in secondary english language arts instruction (BQ or BD endorsement).

OLL is a 1:1 technology school, and the candidate must be comfortable using technology to enhance student learning.

Qualifications/Requirements: • All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit must be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan. • All teachers must hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach. • A minimum Bachelor's Degree, including all courses and state tests required to meet credential requirements. • Attend a Protecting God's Children workshop and complete a background check with fingerprints.
