The ideal candidate will create a Montessori nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and support individual learning needs,

*Responsibilities*

* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Montessori educational standards and promote literacy education. * Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. * Educate students through hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive play. * Provide care for children 3-6, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. * Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. * Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students * Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations to tailor instruction accordingly. * Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

*Requirements*

* Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting. * Strong skills in lesson planning and behavior management techniques. * Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices. * Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. * Experience in literacy education is highly desirable. * Familiarity with preschool care practices and special education strategies * A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
